Through educational, entrepreneurial outreach initiatives, SIFE students make a difference by helping people develop a better understand of how our free enterprise system works and how
to use this information to empower themselves in achieving new successes. Students learn more by teaching others through the use of hands-on learning activities.

Our SIFE team held our second annual SIFE year end party at Charleston's Mellow Mushroom restaurant. 20% of all purchases at this party were donated to our Technology for Africa project.

Our SIFE team won second runner up at the National SIFE exposition in Chicago, IL.

Mass Mutual Adopted a computer.

Project Events
November 5, 2008- A Taste of Africa wine tasting and networking event. location: Kudu Coffee time:5-7 pm $10 for students $15 dollars for public.
November 12, 2008- Whats the word, yo? Faculty game show event location: Physican's Auditorium Time: 7 pm $2 for students and $3 for faculty.
November 13, 2008- Shop for Africa! Winter Sale event at Cose Belle 5- 8 pm 50% all fall merchandise as well as 25% winter merchandise with purchase of fall item. Come shop and enjoy refreshments as you support technology for Africa! Authentic African Jewelery will be sold- all proceeds for technology for Africa.
